For far too long, Alexandria has been known more as a suburb of Anderson than for our own personality.  For the past several years it has been our challenge to redefine who we are and where we want to be in the future?

As a team... our City Council has been up to the challenge.  We have done a number of things that have helped get Alexandria recognized regionally.

Numerous communities, statewide have journeyed to Alexandria to learn more about what we are doing to capture the attention of some many.  As a result, we have attracted; the headquarters of three new businesses who will be conducting business worldwide.  As a result of our efforts Alexandria has begun to create a new and exciting identity that future generations will enjoy.
